...I haven't posted anything about him for awhile because they have been in a holding pattern while the doctors tried adjusting his medicines and such...

For those of you who don't know what I am talking about here are two links of prior discussions...

Well...anyway, tomorrow at about 2PM EST Austin is going in for a bone marrow test.  From what I know this is a very painful procedure.  I cannot imagine the torture his parents must be going through.  As well as his sister.  Please say a prayer for this family.  Please.  This boy is just 6 months younger than my ds.  His family is very close to my sister's family, my BIL actually broke down during a bible study as he asked for prayers for Austin, and he just doesn't do that.

Thanks for being there!

Just an update...the testing went smoothly.  Hopefully they'll have an answer within a week.

Here is an email I just received from my sister!!!!   clap clap clap clap clap clap clap

Hello everyone,

I just received an email from Rick (Austin's Father) with the following news:

"Dr. reports its not Leukemia, Praise the Lord! Test for Lupus negative, he stated he could tell us what Austin doesn't have, but not what exactly the problem is.  We will continue to monitor his white blood count.  His next appt in May.  We still have to monitor for temp greater than 100, as he is at greater risk of not being able to fight off infections with a low white blood count.  The diagnosis for now is Leucopenia (low white blood count).

Thank you for all your prayers! We love you and we can rejoice in God's love and mercy."

PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW!!

Thank you to each and everyone of you who prayed for Austin.  We are so thankful that His answer was "no luekemia".  We know that Rick, Elma, Austin and Hannah appreciate your prayers deeply.
