This looked good. It's an easy and quick meal from Kraft that I got in their newsletter today.

I hate quick white rice, so I'd do brown rice to make this more nutritious. You can substitute chicken breasts too--probably any chicken pieces you like would work.

The red and yellow bell peppers can be expensive, but you could substitute I'm sure. I buy a package of red, green & yellow peppers--one of each in the package--that is pretty reasonable.

Here's the link to the recipe:

Instant white rice?

 Sick

It's Cal Rose rice cooked in a rice cooker that's the best!!!

(At least for authentic Hawai'ian stuff)

That looks good.  Thanks for sharing.

I don't like any quick rices.  I always change recipes that call for quick rice to use regular rice.  Rice is really not hard to cook.  smiley

It sure is!

Put as many scoops as I think I need--usually 6  of my 3/4 cup measuring cup, fill water to the 6.5 waterline...  Plug in, press button...  Forty five minutes later, perfect sticky rice.  giggle

Of course if I want to make it even MORE perfect,  giggle  I rinse the rice until it rinses clean before I add the water...
