Can you call MK Corporate to get an amount that you'd be eligible for without sparking any kind of memo mess being sent to your director or is that something that is automatic? I'm still on the fence about sending my inventory back or selling it off in other ways. Lord knows with my life situation I do NOT want that woman calling me (and I know she would if she knew I was even considering such a thing), as I was her unit's Queen of Sales last year and our NSD's #2 Queen of Sales last year - so that should tell you the amount of inventory I have. I've only been in since March 2007, so the amount of inventory I have is enormous. Please don't throw rocks at me.... Thought it was a good idea at the time...have since found out differently. Thanks for any help in advance!

Not to worry! We would never throw rocks! Lots of support your way....many of us have been there, done that! Got the tee shirt...then burned it! Sorry, I don't have the answer to your question...but I'm interested to hear what it is!

Hi al, you know it's hard to say what MKC will do. I'm sorry you are in such a dilemma. I've been there too. When you are ready, you will know and won't care what your director will say! LOL, I just wanted all of this crap out of my house!!!!!! Keep us posted on your decision, we will support you all the way, no matter what your choice!

Oh I've been lurking for a while now...I KNEW I'd get support! I just feel like this is probably one of the stupidest things I've done in my life and with all the other things going on in it right now, I certainly don't need the calling me up trying to get her last words in to try to convince me to change my mind (once it's made up). Course it certainly didn't help any to get the email today about January Jumpstart. Yeah, right...I'm gonna spend $18 to go sit and watch you silly people get all fired up about the same ole crap I saw you get fired up about at the Fall Retreat that you basically forced me to go to instead of spending time with my 7 yr old son. No thanks! Lemme just give you an idea of the kind of inventory we may be looking at here....Last year's Queen's Court of Sales total was something like $41,200 Retail ($20,600 W/S). That's just up until Seminar! Now...let's see if I can get a rough estimate of stuff since then.... $8913.25 W/S this Seminar year thru now. We're talking about almost $30,000 W/S in product here! All I can say is...it's a darn good thing I am not a personal recruit of my director, if I decide to send it back...eh?

O.K., thet's see..... I'm O.K. Hmmmm... Al, would you like to change your name to whatwasithinking? OMG, What Were YOU thinking? O.K., I think I'm over the shock! How much of that do you think is returnable? OMG, O.K., I'd change my phone number, move, etc. and THEN call MKC Lord! That is serious money, I would certainly get some advice from the ladies one here who sent back LARGE inventories. WOW. Sorry, I'm no help! Oh, I don't drink!

Oh - forgot to answer - since I just joined March 2007, most everything should be returnable (course some of the color just went to the discontinued list 12/16), but everything else should be able to be returned, I think. I only have a few limited edition items (and from what I think I've read, those can't be returned), but yep...everything else in the almost $30,000 w/s amount can be returned - I think. And sure....I have section 2 stuff of course that I know I can't return. But I'm pretty sure that I could unload that on eBay or heck...I bet I could find a consultant or two in the unit that would buy it at a reduced price. If I get to them before the director does! hehe

Al, most of what I sent back was Limited Edition products! No Problem.
You were not stupid, you just fell for the hype. I know a woman who is so highly intelligent, who fell for it too!!!!!!

Definitely fell right into the quick sand and before I knew it, I couldn't breathe!
Here's the REALLY bad part - my recruiter, director, AND NSD all live within a 3 block radius of my house! Yep...you heard me right...the pink cadillac drivin' director and the pink XLR drivin' NSD can drive by here all day long every day of the week and throw rocks at me and my house as they go to their MK functions. How much fun this is going to be?! Maybe I should get some signs for my front yard since we were never allowed to advertise FOR MK while consultants, maybe I can advertise AGAINST MK? Hmmmmm........

Amanda~ SOOOO SORRY the Pink Brigade all lives within 3 blocks of you. Also, sorry to hear how much Inventory you have on hand, but be glad you are getting out now as it only would have continued to build with more and more of it becoming discontinued. Hang in there, be strong and let us know what we can do to assist. Glad you found us and look forward to seeing you on the board!

Right now I just need to know if I call MK to find out what amount I'm eligible to return (without asking for a return form) more or less so I can contemplate this decision with ALL of the cold, hard facts and numbers in my hands (uh huh...you guessed it...I'm a "C" personality! HAHA!), is my neighbor director gonna get a memo/call from MK that says I called them, or is it only after I request the form that they let her know?
I'd really like to already have all the $30,000-ish inventory in boxes ready to go when the forms are requested, so that when she comes over here (cuz I KNOW she will - and she'll probably bring the NSD too!) they can see that I'm serious and I'm not turning back. Course this is all if indeed the numbers I hear from MK are indeed close to what I think I'm going to hear.
Can you just imagine what I could do with....oh....let's just guestimate here and say....$20,000?????

OMG, Al--that's alot of inventory to have accululated in just less than a year!!! My advice, since you are already pondering the decision, pack it up, ship it off, and wait for your blue check!!! It will be such an enormous weight off of your shoulders to do so. If your Director and/or NSD do come for a visit...just be FIRM in your decision. Maybe you could try using some of their same recruting spiel to answer any exit interview questions that may throw at you. "Yes, I want to earn an executive income...which is why I've chosen another career path", or "Yes, my family deserves the best things in life, which is why I've decided MK is not for us"...etc. Your seem like a smart lady...I'm sure you can turn the tables on them and gear your responses in the direction of MK sucks!
