Hi there!  Does my Director AND my recruiter get charged back the commissions on my products?  Will I have to forfeit the commissions I earned?  (Not like it was much... I couldn't get my gals active all at the same time because I was not pushy.  LOL!  So 4% was it for me...  Probably a couple of hundred at most.)  Do they really take out the Star Prize money?  Free product money?

Thanks!!! snowmn snwflake

Yes, they charge back anything you received in the last year. I'm not sure how they figure the value of the prizes (cheap crap prizes)!!!! BUT, I thought for sure that I would have a charge back for one commission check I got (like $8.50), but instead I ended up getting $20.00 more on my check! Cool.

Yes your director and your recruiter get the charge back too.  :matoes:

They do not deduct any of your earned commissions unless your team members return their product too.

On the free product:  they add the retail value of the free product that you received in the last year to your purchases.  That amount is the retail total that they quote that you can return.
When they receive your products, they calculate the wholesale value of the allowable items, and then deduct the wholesale value of the free products that you earned.  You do not need to send back the exact items that you received for free, just the equivalent value of them.

Oops! allsmiles, I didn't think about you buying the Triple Action on the Pink Sale! You must have, because they stopped selling it in what 2003-04? So the price I told you was what we sold it for before that!  rudolph

That's okay...

Okay, so if I am understanding this right:  I returned $4400 in wholesale+tax.  I was eligible to return almost $8000 wholesale.  BUT, some of my products were free...  How would they know which were free?  How can they possibly deduct the amount of free product if they don't know what I sold that was free?  Seriously, I am either super dumb, or I am just not getting it.  For instance, I sent back 22 firming eye creams.  They were free with my order of miracle sets.  BUT, I was the queen of ordering firming eye creams.  SO, will they really try to figure out how much to deduct?  This is insane... LOL!  HELP!

no - they don't know all that.

They would just take the number (dollar amount) of your "free" stuff and delete it from the total. But if they told you you were eligible to return 8k and you only sent back 4k - then you're fine. They're not going to take off anymore.
It's not the specific products they are looking for - it's the dollar amounts.
is that clear, or am I more confusing?

Nope, you were CLEAR!  That's actually great news!  Means they shouldn't deduct anything, then!

Thanks so much!  (What a great Christmas present!)

How long should it take to get the check?  They received my products back on Friday.

THANKS!

Hey Allsmiles, CONGRATS on your decision to get out!!   :yays:  Cheers  Now that you know they have recieved your return, call the repurchase dept. and ask for an "inventory ledger report" to see exactly how they came up with the numbers they did.  When I called to tell them they were off their rocker they assured me that they have specially trained people who do this all the time and mabye I should check my math (I graduated w/ a 4.0, I was right.)  They made me wait until my first check came to dispute it, but when I did it was easy to prove to them that they had their math ALL wrong.  It was like they pulled numbers out of thin air or something.  They apologized and quickly issued another check.  SO... my point is, if it's not right the first time, that's just their attempt at keeping more of your $$ (IMO).  But, they will correct their "mistake" when you point it out to them.  I think they count on consultants just being tired of dealing w/ the return hassle and not knowing how to figure out their twisted MK math (if it was ever on sale you only get credited the sale price regardless of if you paid full-price... and other stoooopid rules).  Anyhoo, just wanted to say congrats and we're all here if any issues like this should arise.
