Spring has Sprung!

Okay- I know you ladies have explained this to others here a billion times, but please help me out! I wanted to find out how the whole discontinued product thing works. Specifically, does the repurchase department go by the price I paid for an item (ex. $50 for the old Day and Night Solution Set) and the list I send them or do they use another method to calculate the price? I am especially confused because a lot of items aren't listed on the pink sale (ex. Previous Lip Liners) I was planning to list the price I paid since I can't find any other information on these items.

Also, what if the company still sells the exact same product that I'm sending back, but the packaging has changed? Would I still get the full product value? Thanks in advance for your help. ladies!  wave -Sassy

Hey, Sassy!  First, thanks for the compliment on my new winter avatar...   giggle  It isn't that warm yet in NM, but it was too cute to resist!

And I just posted this on another thread but it answers this here --

**********************************************************
The repurchase form states:

"The company will repurchase products based on the prices in effect at the time of your most recent order or orders from the company, plus the sales taxes paid on the products being repurchased, less the company's cost of any prizes or product bonuses you were awarded based on the original purchase of products you are returning for repurchase, and less any money you owe mary kay inc."

So if you are thinking of returning inventory and have lots of discounted items, you may want to avoid purchasing anything else from the company!
***********************************************************

So you will get 90% of what the cost was at the time of your last purchase -- I am expecting to receive the full price back (well, 90%) on all my items as none were discounted at the time of my last purchase!  And if I don't, watch out scary kay!
