Hi Ladies. Don't know if I'm in the right section to ask this question but here goes. I have a Sales Director friend (or should I say ex-sales director) who returned her inventory about a month ago. She along with practically her entire unit. She had (and I don't know the exact figures) let's say, $15,000 worth of product to return but MK said she could only return $10,000. Some of her unit members had $2,500 worth of product but we eligible to return up to $5,000. What she did was mail some of her excess inventory to her consultants to get them up to their max return levels and they in turn gave her her share of the money when they got their blue checks from corporate. What I'm trying to get at here is, Is anyone returning inventory and need some extra stuff to get up to their max inventory return level. I would be interested in "adding" some items if you will, if you in turn would be willing to send me my portion of the returned funds. With the amount of inventory that I have and with the amount that corporate is willing to buy back, I would still be out of quite a bit of money. My ex-SD friend told me to bring this discussion to you guys for advice. Any and all would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

Did it work out for your exSD and consultants? If so, I too would be willing to contribute so we can get the best of MK for a change.

I actually found someone here to do this with awhile back. It worked out well, and corporate didn't suspect anything (that I know of.) It really helped me out and if you can find someone with a good track record who is willing to let you send your stuff back with them, I say go for it!

Yes. It worked out great for all of them. They were all able to get some money back on product and didn't get stuck having to sit there and watch thousands of dollars of stuff go to waste.

Maybe we should start a section for listing those interested in sharing with those stuck.

That sounds like a good idea. There would probably be a lot of interest in that.

My deadline to get my stuff back is 2/21, and I'm eligible to send $7999 back. I had about $10,500, but between the many trades/sales I've done here , craigslist, and my 1/2 off sale to my customers, I pretty sure I'm a little under now. When it get's closer to the date I'll put a post up letting you all know how much wiggle room I have. My only question is, since that would add additional weight to the boxes being sent back, how can we compensate that person who's sending the items back. Any ideas?????

Off the cuff, I would think that whatever it would cost to send the products to you, would be about what it would be in additional freight for you to get that additional stuff to MKC. So say you needed another $500 worth of stuff for your return quota. I would send you $500 worth of stuff and say it would cost, $35 for me to send it to you. I would think that the cost would be very close to an additional $35 for you to send it to MKC. Am I making sense? I would then (me personally) be willing to except my portion of the blue refund check, minus $35. Comments?

I would be interested in combining what is left over that I could not sell or trade to equal out someone's total return (it would only equal a few hundred dollars). Heck, I would be interested in trading my items for items that I can use for personal use. My items were purchased from MK within the last year. Please email me direct if anyone is interested in my items for their return or trade out you items that you are sending back to the MK.
Thanks, Monica Charlotte, NC

Just bumping this up as I am eligible to send back $49,875 and at this time, I only have $35,718 to send. I could definitely do some helping out of some people here! I do NOT want to trade Section 1 anything - but I have a VERY large amount of trinkets (MK odds and ends) and Section 2 stuff (Everything Totes, Robes, Magnifying Mirrors, etc) that I could trade you for your product if you're just wanting to get rid of the product and don't want cash back. If you're wanting cash back, by all means, just let me know! I think a fair way to take care of the added amount of shipping your items with mine would be to just take the amount that it takes to ship the items from you to me and let me know what that amount is. Then you can either include additional product to cover that cost (considering they're going to take 10% of the retail of it) or you can just send a check to cover the additional cost of shipping your items with mine.
Anyway, since I've got a couple of weeks until I REALLY have to send this stuff back...I thought I'd at least make the offer if anyone wants to join in!

Alpayton,
I've got some stuff (less than a year old) - would consider trading for Section 2. PM me a list if you're interested?

I think this is a GREAT idea. Am I alone?
If someone is eligible to send back more than they have, and others have items they don't want, why not combine stuff and send it back to get the max cash?
What do others think?
