Alpayton, great idea. That's exactly what I did, I sold off as much as I could at exactly my cost (not below, which is what you get from MK repurchase). But I gave myself a deadline so that whatever didn't sell or that I would never use could still be sent back to MK in time - don't let your return date for the maximum $ amount slip by, unless you've got another plan. I actually have "Going Out Of Business Sale", "Mary Kay BOGO!", and lots of other flyers that I made up in MSWord if you want me to email them to you. If you have enough people interested, it might be worth setting up a room in your house for 1 weekend and let everyone come shop in person so they can see all that is available at once. That was my "plan" but only 1 person came.
As far as accepting products from other consultants, I know ladies who are stuck w/ over $30,000 in product, and since they haven't ordered much at all in the last 12 months they can't send it back. Most is now obsolete due to packaging changes, color changes, or formula changes. They have no way to advertise it. I sympathize w/ people like that quite a bit more than I do the Directors who talk them into those situations in the 1st place. I agree w/ UYC, the Director did originally make that much comission in dollars so no matter which (or who's) particular items are sent back, they are eligible for that same dollar amount in chargebacks. Perhaps they ought to question they've sold themselves out to so wholly for doing these chargebacks at all.
*I accepted stuff from other consultants in my return*
