I have a question. I do not know if it belongs under here or not. I have seen some others mention not to sign the pink sheet MK sends. Can MK withhold your check if you do not sign it?

Why would you not want to sign it?

Signing it just indicates that you understand your contract as an IBC will be cancelled by returning your product!

I know I was one that recommended not signing it just because I was told not to, and here was the reason given to me:  I was told by signing it, I would be held to all of MK's terms, conditions, and fine print and would have to accept their "fuzzy math" (trying to reimburse me w/ Pink Sale prices when I actually bought something full price).  This was over a year ago and on another forum that I was told these things though.  Anyone else know the details of if the reasons I was given are true?

I signed the MK form, used the PT return  form (I didn't know PLH existed).   I returned discontinued and Limited Edition items from as far back as 9 years, did not provide 1 bit of documentation on the price paid and was paid for 90% of wholesale on the retail.  I don't know if any items I returned had been on Pink Sale or not, but I had no trouble.

Maybe I was just lucky?

RTP...I think that if you don't sign the form then MK has no obligation to provide you with the refund.

If not signing it means you don't want to abide by their terms and math, then I don't see why anyone should expect that they take it back, you know?

You can't have it both ways. Just my thinking. I think the info you got on that "other forum" is a little screwy.   :teehee:

But thanks for giving that info.

Well, this was before I knew about PLH too.  I have to agree about that other forum's info being screwy.  You guys tried to warn me!  At the time I had no idea...

I did get my refund, and they did make alot of mistakes in counting quantities of things I sent back, but they corrected that and sent a second check as soon as the lady at MK repurchasing believed me about it being wrong.  It never occured to me that maybe MK is under no obligation if you don't sign their form.  :doh

Thank you to all you ladies that replied. I had seen it on another forum not to sign and that is how this got started.  I think we all want to get the most money and do it all right.  It is hard getting it altogether though.  There is a lot of things involved with getting out.
