I keep getting calls for home based business opportunities--guess I put my email address out a bit too much........anyhow, this lady called about a product or company (not sure which) called Xango........I asked all the questions up front.......do I have to live on the phone?, do I have to frontload inventory?, any shipping or dropshipping involved?.........she answered NO to all......so I'm wondering if anyone has ever heard of this company??  Please if you have any info let me kno;w!

Hi Done.  I just took a look at their website and managed to click on the compensation plan before it disappeared (weird - it would flash on and then go away).  The thing that disturbed me is that apparently to go beyond the first step you have to commit to an autoship of at least 1 case a month.  I don't think that's ever a good thing.

It'll be interesting to see if anyone else has had any experience with them.

Good luck.   smiley

Don't have any experience with Xango but the world-wide headquarters is about 15 miles from my house.  I see billboards all over the place...   Sick

BAD MLM. They make false claims that their magic juice cures all sorts of stuff. What a crock. I am not surprised about the autoship. Please run away as fast as you can. Boo

ETA: I hear you can get mangosteen juice at Sam's club. If you are dead set on trying it, go there first. I still think it's just fruit juice.  smiley

oh lord - yes, Xango is a scam, just like Amway.

BTW Julie - I finally got around to reading that book "Merchants of Deception" about Amway - holy cow!!!! That was the most horrible thing I've read in a long time! Did you notice that all of catch phrases, behaviors, etc, are exactly like MK? And the worst part for me, was reading all the quotes from the Amway big wigs - those guys are freaking psychotic, and a lot of their quotes are IDENTICAL to quotes from Mary Kay!
EEK - I knew Amway was bad, but after reading that book I feel traumatized....and I was shocked at how much Amway and Mary Kay are alike.  faint
