I have to say that I really do appreciate my Arbonne experience.  It taught me that I really do have an entrepenurial spirit, just that it was originally misguided.  Also, my foray into the forum and blogging worlds because of people like pink caddy was what prompted me to seek out help in my situation as a stepmom.  I realized very quickly that I wanted to help people like me.  As I began researching career options, life coaching made itself evident to me.  I joined a training program, and here I am, a personal life coach who specializes in stepfamilies.  Coaching is a form of consulting, where your coach focuses on what is right and working for you and how to apply that to things that you want to change.  Large goals are broken down into small, attainable steps, and you find yourself achieving success in those goals faster than you thought possible.  Coaching is NOT counseling, in that a coach does not attempt to fix anyone or offer advice.  It is all based on what you want to do.

That being said, my coaching business is called Free To Be Family,  http://www.freetobefamily.com

I am gearing up to offer a stepmom group in October that will meet twice a month for three months.  What my clients find in my group sessions is that they are able to really apply conscious techniques in changing their self talk, thereby eliminating a lot of hostility within their homes.  The group atmosphere is especially supportive, as we all relate to each other.  This can alleviate feelings of inadequacy or guilt about one's own home life.

So, if you or anyone you know is in a stepfamily situation, which includes a dating relationship, drop by my website or email me to see how I can help you achieve a happy family!

Hi Leah!  That is a great thing you are doing!  I wish I would have had someone to talk to when my stepdaughter was still living at home!  What a challenging experience it is being a stepparent.  We had some extremely difficult times back then.

If you don't mind, I would like to link to your site on my Fighting Fatigue blog and a couple of other blogs.

You ought to put your website in the Blog & Website Exchange board Laura set up!

PC-Hi!  Married life is Awesome, thank you.   And no.....still no baby.  smiley

Fighting - That's a great idea; I'll do that.  You and I had our blogs linked before when I had my ordinary expert blog.  I just told my DH that I need to start blogging again about stepmotherhood.  It would range from helpful tips to funny stories about my own life.  I just don't know where I'll get the time to do it!  Thank you very much for your support and for wanting to link to me!  Once I have a blog, I'll be sure to put your link on it!
