Ouch! I think you may have been a little too harsh on Mercedes. I did use the Arbonne products many years ago and I thought the product was fantastic (skin care only). I had actually switched from Mary Kay skincare to Arbonne and noticed an incredible improvement. I have very sensitive skin and couldn't find a solution in MK that worked. Anway, that was before the big change that took place several years ago with the "puppy" peddling push. I was out of it by then. From what I've heard it is very bad at Arbonne. As far as the business goes, it's very much like Mary Kay. I guess from a products point of view they are also twins. Both have a nice product but go about marketing it in an inappropriate (to put it mildly) manner. All these MLMs, Network Marketing, and Direct Sales companies work in the same manner for the most part. The only difference I've seen (and I've tried nearly all of them) is that some push the inventory while others don't. Those that do push the inventory are the ones that have the worst reputations. Those that don't push the inventory generally don't have a car program either. Without the car incentive there would be no need to push inventory. Another difference you'll find in many of these companies is the focus on recruiting. Some push you to push the opportunity, while others allow it to happen naturally. No More PinkWishes   |
