alright sassy - are you a romance novel addict? Because I have a shelf full of romance novels from the last year - if you want to swap, let me know!
I like Eloisa James, Laura Kinsale, Mary Jo Putney....tons of others.... I have become an addict myself.  giggle

PC- I've started to turn to that! It's all my dear friend's fault! She's a historical romance novel addict and I love to read, so when DH and I hang out with her and her DH, she and I will end up reading! So now, I'm buying romance novels too!

I'd love to swap (although DH probably doesn't like the hopeless romantic I turn into when reading them!!) Do you want me to send you a list with titles?

I am such a book addict.  I swear, my husband MADE me start going to the library so I wouldn't spend so much on books.

Me too!  I am queen of the library...   giggle  I read way too much to be able to afford to buy them all!

But I do have lots of non-fiction books I would love to send around if anyone is interested...

Women's studies and critical thinking
African American studies and history
English literature and more!
Philosophy
And others...

If you are interested let me know -- I have tons of really great new ones...

sassy -

I'll write up a list of everything on my shelf, and send it to ya. You can do the same - if we find some titles we want to swap, I'm all for it. Gotta love that trashy, sappy historical romance!

I simply cannot stand reading anything set in modern times now - I'm ruined! LOL

(If any of you wondered where I got the idea to give out "royal titles" on my blog, like "Baroness von SugarScrub- Lady Microderm, Comtesse d'Abrasion- Marquise d'Emollient - Lady Market, from Saturation Point - Contessa de Tooti-Fruiti - etc, etc ,etc"  well, it was historical romance novels, of course! giggle)

Well, I have the following to loan out (off the top of my head):
A Life to Di for- Kay Kellam (about princess Diana, fictional)

Do you still have this one?   clap  I saw it in an outlet book store up in Park City when I was on my honeymoon back in June '97.  Meant to buy it...  Didn't.  She died.  Can't find it...  Regret not buying it.

I haven't really gotten into that much romance, but I do like those historical period pieces like  "The other Boleyn Girl" and "The Lady and the Unicorn"  Great books.

I have one about Lady Diane, The Royal Duty, it was written by her butler...  I love reading also, I have gotten into mysteries lately!!  I just read Mary Higgins Clark, Two Girls in Blue... I have a copy of The Other Boelyn Girl, I have never picked it up.  So, if anyone is interested in any of those, you are welcome to them, I need to get a list posted... I have 2 bags that are riding around in my trunk that I wanted to donate somewhere!!

I actually found it in my book shelf after I posted that, so if you want, I will mail it to you! I really enjoyed the book. It is history with a twist. It is historical to a point, but it is fiction. I really liked it. Just PM me and I will mail it to you.
