Yes, I did and I read it rather quickly, too!  Now i just gotta send it back..  giggle

That was an interesting book!  Not the one I was thinking of, but good none-the-less!  THANKS!!!!

Yeah, interesting is the best way to put it. It is not fact, but kinda based on it, and a really neat idea, I think.

Yeah--especially with how it ended.  Oh how I wished that were the case at the time...

I have a pile of books I'm looking to get rid of(I love books and actually have a hard time parting with them)- I was going to take them to a used book store and try to trade them in---but, just in case---
if anyone has any jodi piccoult books, or sue miller, elizabeth berg or cs lewis let me know--- those are mainly what I'm looking for right now, and if you have any I'll see if I have anything you would want!

Just wanted to let you ladies know that I have been a library and book store addict since I was about 10 years old.  Well, anyway about 24 years later I came across the most fabulous website

www.bookins.com

You have to check it out, you will never have to pay more than $3.99 for a book ever again!  I started using it a month ago and I love it.  Let me know what you think or maybe you don't live under a rock like myself and already know about it!

This thread got awfully quiet after the bookins posting.  *I* sure got excited about it!  I am a library nut, as well, and with the ease of online reserving, we are ALWAYS entertained with books, CDs and DVDs {email: your ____ is ready for pick up.  Woo hoo}.

I am on my last Steve Martini book.  I picked up Double Tap (his latest release) because I had "no idea Steve Martin was an author..."  After reading it, I was hooked and I haven't read the books in order, but have enjoyed them.  In fact, the book I'm finishing tonight was released in the early-mid 90s.  It's inscribed July of '94 to the Woodland Library by the author to enjoy.  Local fella whose infant Megan during his debut is now a teenager!

I am reserving Nine (whatever the nine Stephanie Plums is) by Janet Evanovich next.  These I AM doing in order (except for the holiday or beach releases, since they aren't Plummies).

I'm also needing to squeeze in some time to read Eragon and Bridge to Terabithia.  Any good reads among those still here (in Feb.)?
