Well here the update.....everything went well, My daughter did great! She was not afraid of leaving us to go to the O.R. they showed her the mask (smelled like bubble gum) that they would put on her to help her go to sleep. They didn't put her IV in until they gave her the gas. After she woke up beautifully from the anesthetic, no nausea or vomiting. She just laid there quietly and denied having much pain. The incision is much smaller than we or the doctor expected and they were able to conseal it within her belly button! So we are all very happy with the results!
Next will be my surgery on my ankle this fall faint....I'm not looking forward to it! Unfortunately the waiting list is so long! That is the earliest they could get me in and they cannot guarantee it either.....
