Oh Congratulations Marisabel!!!

I'm so excited for you. My baby isn't due til the beginning of January, and I don't get a sonogram until 28 weeks, so it's gonna be a looooong time before I find out the sex.
My daughter really wants a little sister, though. *sigh* I don't know what to tell her! I hope she won't be too upset if she gets another little brother. hee hee

Thanks h8mkay and pinkcaddy!  :-* My husband and I were thinking of Ezekiel (means strength of God) and we've been really thinking of Vladimir (means to rule w/ peace) but we are a little apprehensive because is a rare name....  We are still deciding    ;D

What do you guys think???

I should do a poll, I'll talk to my hubby to see what he thinks.....  ;D

Vladimir is a very Russian/Slavic name - aren't you both Puerto Rican? Not that it really matters, of course, but it might throw people off a little..?  My neighbor just named her son Vladimir, but she's from Albania....

Ezekiel is cute, if you call him "Zeke"  hee hee

If i have a boy it's gonna be Peter. ("The Rock")

I know I don't like Vladimir much, my husband is the one who is crazy about it.. I do love Ezekiel and is easy to say both in english and Spanish and we thought of writing in the birth certificate the "spanish version" which is Ezequiel because we both have Spanish names ...I am trying to convince him, i know I can, but I just want him to feel good not me manipulating ya know......  But, he is more leaning towards Ezekiel....   Cheesy

Okay -
don't waste your money on a high chair, that's for sure - it takes up ALL the space in your kitchen, and you don't need it. They sell little booster seats with attached trays that sit on one of your chairs - it's much more convenient! (for when he's a little older and starts on baby food)

Depending on whether your baby is a crier or not (I hope for your sake he's not colicky!) - a baby swing is a must. I could not have survived without it!

A swing is a must . Amd the high chair advice is right on. They are all plastic and you can take it outside and hose it off! (Trust me...don't laugh).

Congratulations!  I love Ezekial!  That's a great name.  ( I would put another !, but you would not believe I was really out of mk).  with my first there were lots of things I thought I could not live without- with my second, 6.5 yrs. later and almost 40, there are lots of things that just aren't necessary.  I vote for a really good stroller that rolls well on all kinds of surfaces and is easy to fold/unfold and get in and out of your vehicle.   I don't think a changing table is a total need either.

Hope you are feeling well PC!  I like Peter too.  My youngest is Matthew- gift from God.  We were told 6 years earlier there was no way we would have another without adopting.  God has truly blessed us! smiley

Oh The advice on the high chair is right on thanks and the swing I actually was not sure and was hesitating about it, Now I know is a MUST....

The strollers, YES! I've been kind of overwhelmed with all the choices on strollers and car seats that I am going crazy.....

pinkcaddy, you probably know what's the gender pretty soon  wink Can't wait....

Thanks for your awesome advices! I love it, I always love to hear what others have to say.... Knowing from the experiences of others most of the times saves a lot of headaches, so I really appreciated and Keep 'em coming! Cheesy

Oh - I agree on the changing table too - i never used it. It sat in my closet collecting junk!

And the strollers - I made the mistake of trying to save money (as always) and just bought a cheap stroller and carseat. The wheels never rolled smoothly and it was a pain in the ass to collapse, etc. If I had to do it over again, I would have bought the carseat/stroller combo - even though you'll only use the carseat for a few months, you can always use it for the next baby, or sell it!

I'm so happy for you Marchioness and PRdiva - having to go through thinking you couldn't have a baby is so hard. I'm so glad that you got such sweet surprises! Cheesy
