congratulations NoPink!!!  Love

I just had my third, and I'm seriously LOL at the "you teach your oldest how to wind up the mechanical swing"....I sooooo already did that!!

Just about all of them were spot on for me. You should add the whole photos/video thing too:

1st BABY: you take hours and HOURS of video footage, and ROLLS of film every day. You spend hours on the scrapbook, and document every "first".
2nd BABY: you try to remember to take pictures, but the scrapbook is still on the first few months when baby celebrates his 1st birthday. You forget to document all those "firsts".
3rd BABy: the video camera is broken and you never fix it. You hardly take pictures unless it's all 3 of them together.

Sighing......

This is the last that I am planning on!  3 is plenty for me, I never even wanted kids when I was growing up ( I was the oldest of 4)  I am going to be 30 next month and I say thats my cut of for birthin babies!  Plus I just get sooooo stinkin fat!!!!!!   I am thinking about getting my tubes tied, don't know for sure what I will do.  It would be easier than waiting on my DH to get his "manhood" cut on!  what a baby!  If only they could try squeezing a 8 pound watermelon out their ............

The cure for men is to pass a kidney stone.  No matter how small it is they make out like it is a boulder.  My dad use to give me a hard time when I had cramps (they were really bad because of endometreosis on the nerves).  The first time he had a kidney stone, he thought he was going to die.  He has been so kind to women who are suffering.   giggle

I just turned 28, and dh is 30 now, so we're done. His dad had him later in life, and died kindof young, so my dh has an age limit on having kids.

anyway, he's having a vasectomy in March! hee hee  (and I get really fat when I'm preggo too, so I'm glad that this is my last weight gain and loss. )

Tell your dh that the vasectomy is pretty painless, no big deal. You're right tho - men are incredible pussies when it comes to pain.

Done, I did the same pacifier thing with my 2nd!  (I might have done it a few times with my first)  Its amazing how funny you can be with your first born.  My 2nd was eating table food and drinking sweet tea by the time she was old enough to start baby food! (She wouldn' eat babyfood)  I wouldn't let my first eat any table food until he was almost 1.  Live and learn!

This is a great post, I cannot add to it yet. But it's good to know the degrees of how things change from one baby to the next. I am a bit anal with my dogs and cleaning their paws, brushing their teeth, wiping their bums. So, we'll see how I am with the first lil one, DH always drops such funny hints about our first child. I am hoping I have twins- since they run in my family.  dance
