Another thing I was thinking about yesterday.

If you used TimeWise, did you ever notice that it didn't remove all the makeup and dirt, or was I the only one?

I would wash with it, use a washcloth to remove it, yet if/when I used toner afterwards I would always get more makeup off.

Was it just me?

I agree UYC! My director said it was because I didn't use the eye makeup remover! WTF, its EYE makeup remover, not foundation remover!!!!!!!  :nutzo:

That's true.  I used the C/O formula, and I think it cleaned better, because it foamed, but I still had foundation on my cotton pad.

Another think, the foundation did come off on your clothes, it was supposed to be transfer resistant.  Once it got on your clothes it was next to impossible to get out of your clothes!  :gah:

Yes, I noticed that too. They made a big deal when the new foundations came out about how they didn't transfer, but they did.

It made my face clean and really soft. I had nothing but positive results. I like Mary Kay Skin Care but the makeup... eh...

Nope. I use a white towel, and I could see the residue on it after I washed. Ewwwww.

My big issue with the foundation was it came off on my phone. That was gross. I had to take a Q-tip to it.  :teehee: If it had stained my clothes, I really would have been annoyed.

Julie...you are so right about it coming off on the phone.  I had forgotten how awful it was...my cell phone and the phone at work too!  I always thought it was because I have oily skin.

I never did like the foundations in the white plastic tubes, the colors  I never could match to my skin properly.  Now that I am out of MK I use Bare Minerals...no transfer, comes off your face easily and controls oil!

I have switched to Biore' Pore Minimizing face wash!  It is only $6.00 at Target and it does wonders for my oily skin and has really made a difference in the size of my pores.  Best of all I have been using it for probably 3 months now 2x a day and I still have half a tube!

For now I am using the  MK hydrating gel moisturizer at night and the TW
C/O moisturizer under my makeup...but I am very open to trying some new things, I just can't justify buying new when I have plenty on the shelf!

That IS true about the phone! I never thought of that when thinking of this question. I have a big wide Blackberry so I probably barely have makeup on once I hang up.  :doh

Kids and renovations are my life!

I use the C/O timewise in the summer and it seems to work okay.....but once it's gone I'll be searching for another summer wash.

This past winter I used the Burt's Bees orange citrus wash....loved it!

Is it just me or does anyone else have to change cleansers with the seasons? I guess the summer brings more oil and dirt with the heat! :teehee:

Mary Kay was the first cleanser I ever used. I've never even tried another kind. I think I lead a sheltered life, lol.

Sassy...I just use something for super oily skin year round...although it is worse in the summer time.  But since I started wearing Bare Minerals makeup, it is not as oily...maybe I am finally getting Soooooooooooooo
old that there is no oil left  :laugh3:

I'll volunteer for your test market!   :teehee:  You may be on to something there, in addition to using Margarita yourself,  pass them to everyone you meet too!   (I think the joy of a holiday weekend is too much for me tonight!  Honestly, I haven't  been Margarita Margarita Margarita)
