Well I have done tons of cleaning...so much that my hands hurt.....the people I bought from definitely would have voted in the "Cleaning? Why should you it's not your house anymore" category!

Seven hours of cleaning just in the kitchen before I unpacked....I won't even scare you with how the bathrooms turned out....one of them we will be gutting this December...no amount of bleach can save it! (The walls are rotten...I leaned over on the tiles to clean the tub and fell through....the inspector missed that little tidbit!  mad2 )

We'll be following up with the house inspection company....they missed a few major items! I still would have bought the house...I just would have paid less! Bash
I feel your pain there Sass, I didn't even go into the topic of honesty about the condition of the actual structure, or the honesty (or lack of) of the "professionals" involved.  5-star my @$$!  Air-drafts, leaks, mold, moisture, ugh...  such fun.  I'll go back to thinking about the yummy Thanksgiving dinner I'm planning.  Be careful around that mildew/mold stuff!  I'm sure you know your stuff about that too smiley  Hope all is going well - take care!

True tolerance is loving someone despite actually disagreeing with them.  There is nothing to tolerate if you are not bothered.

Honesty and transparency are virtues to be treasured - don't hide your beliefs in the name of tolerance, be honest about where you stand, just do it with love. smiley
