How often do you eat a meal away from home?

Count everything. If you grab a doughnut from the store on the way to work, that's a meal.

Fast food lunches, dinner out with the family...anything you don't cook yourself.    :popcrn:

Hardly ever....but since we've begun packing the house I have to say we've order pizza once a week or so! Can't wait to get resettled and back to cooking everything from scratch!

However that being said tonight's meal is coming from the bottom of the deep freeze! :muahaha:

Once a week here!  We always eat out on Saturday nights - but not fast food.

1 time a week at most, but I have to say, sometimes I eat a school salad with my lunch from home. O.K., I lied, sometimes 2 times a week if I go shopping with my neighbor Sally. We always go out for Mexican, for lunch!!!!! LOL

AUCKKK ~ I am SOOOO Embarrassed!   Bash

When I stopped to think about it between lunches at work  being a sandwich from the Deli and occassional dinners out I am in the 7+ category!!!  OMG ~ I have got to cut back.  Getting off the computer NOW to pack lunch for tomorrow as my main issue is being short on time in the mornings. :-)

So THAT'S who my "on the go" :quote: soulmate is!! :console: :laugh3:

DKeys- don't feel badly, I've been stopping by McDonald's at least twice a week for breakfast (I get enough stuff for 2 days worth of breakfast per trip or I'd be going 4 days a week!) I get 2 fruit and yogurt parfaits (I eat one a day), bagel with cream cheese and jelly (1/2 a bagel each day) and decaff coffee (I only drink about 1/2 on day one and 1/2 on day 2).

I usually eat out with a sales rep once a week (sometimes twice) and then I'll get something for lunch from one of the many eateries near the job a couple of times a week. The rest of the time, I either have a frozen dinner or grab something in the cafeteria.

For dinner I usually cook at home, but we'll grab something every once in awhile. We always get something to go  on the weekends (dinner on Friday and Saturday) but I try to make it a point to cook on Sunday nights.

I need to start getting better about lunchtime. I want to try to limit lunches out to twice a week. I don't know if I'll be giving up my breakfast runs to the golden arches though- I've never been a yogurt fan until they started selling those parfaits!!  :teehee:

THANKS Sassy2724 ~ you made me feel a "little" better!  :star:

Unfortunately, my Breakfast on the go wasn't as healthy as your's it was stopping by to see The King and getting Sausage, Egg and Cheese Croissants (2) and a Big Diet Coke.  :nocmmnt:

But I am now reformed!!!

Since I posted on here the other night I also talked to my DH and we are making a point of trying to do better ~ together.   :yays:
We even purchased a scale ~ AUCKKK and will weigh once a week to help stay on track.

WISH me Luck ~ I need it!!!  :-)

I'm a vegetarian and there's nothing out there for me. I have to shop at the grocery store.

A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition.

We used to eat out almost every day, but now that we are watching the budget and trying to pay down bills and GAS is way too high, we eat in most of the time, eating maybe 1 meal out a week.

I actaully am getting back into cooking and enjoy creating new dishes that are inexpensive, but taste good and we are eating way better!
