I was just feeling snoopy and wanted to find out how much debt you accrued as a result of your MK nightmare.

If you count product, MK events, including Seminar, Career Conf, January Jamboree, Fall Retreat...supplies, quitting a full -time job to do MK and supplementing my salary with Credit Card Debt, somewhere around $30,000 over a 8.5 yr period.

I quit working full-time about 3-1/2 yrs ago when I started driving a school bus.

Plus I paid off my credit cards 2x with money from my 401K and a  debt consolidation loan!  :nutzo:  Not too smart!  I was REALLY fogged!!!

I didn't do too badly, I guess.  I ended up with about $300 retail, but that all got destroyed in a house fire last April so it was an insurance write off...LOL!

Wow, that is so horrible. I'm glad you girls are out of the pink fog. I spent a good couple thousand with MK but I sold it all. I see more and more everyday how lucky I was.

I only bought $600 of inventory. I sold only a few things. After about 3 months, I began to realize I sucked at MK and that was fine with me.  :teehee: Then I found the websites and realized that MK was really what sucked so I sent my remaining inventory back. I figured out I made about $30 profit out of the whole thing. For six months of aggravation it was so not worth it!  :gah: I could make that in a week clipping coupons.

I'm glad you realized it was Mary Kay that sucked. That was funny about the coupons. Funny in a sad but true way.  :doh
