Just curious.
Me...It depends on the involvement of the procedure I suppose. And I never say never.
But face lift or tummy tuck or something like that? I seriously doubt it!

I would seriously consider getting a breast reduction once I'm done having kiddos. They just keep getting bigger and saggier...not pretty!

I've had the breast reduction (five years ago now) and it was the best thing I've ever done for my body!!!!!

Oh yeah... Breast reduction is considered a medical rather than cosmetic/elective procedure. Most insurances cover it.

Me too snoop! I had a BR in 2003. I had the most terrible neck, shoulder, and back pain. I was a FF and I am now a D. The doc didn't want to go too small so I would still look proportioned (since I am a big girl).
My old insurance co wanted me to be within my suggested weight range before they would cover it (and for me that was between 135 and 150). I was 230 at the time. When I got married I got Tricare through the military and they covered every penny because it was proved to be medically necessary, no matter the weight. That was really cool.

I would LOVE to have a breast reduction, but no insurance and I would only do it if they didn't put me out! I don't do well with anesthesia!

Takin' a break from the MASSIVE inventory for return and just have to say that after having lost 85 lbs over a 2 year period of time recently, this past summer - like what...2 or 3 day after I got back from Seminar - I had a tummy tuck! Best thing I've ever done!
And since you guys damn near know everything about my financial situation, you may as well know this too, huh? LMAO
So...my exhusband was majorly mentally abusive to me. I have been divorced from him for just over 5 years but it definitely took its toll. I put on the weight during the marriage - was 110 when we got married...was 250 when we got divorced. I topped out at 255 in a size 22 pant. I said enough is enough and started portion control. Off the weight started to come....little by little. Course I'm sure, starting nursing school probably had a little to do with the weight loss, cuz I just really didn't have time to eat!
So...over the course of the next almost 2 years, I lost the 85 lbs and wound up at 170. Held there for at least 2 months - and nothing. So I knew that it was basically the end of the weight loss - for now. So I scheduled the tummy tuck - paid the CASH and had 'er done. I'm now in a size 12 pant...and couldn't be happier!

Hmm...I'm now curious to see if my insurance will cover a reduction surgery. Of course, I want one more baby, and I've read that the surgery can sometimes mess with your ability to breastfeed. Of course, at the moment, I'm a HH and terrified of getting bigger!

Same here (5 years ago also), and my neck and shoulders thank me every day for not having all that weight pulling down on them any more.

I suppose I'm a little blasé about the whole idea of surgery because I've had...
*counting* 1, 2, 3, 4,....boob job, 6, 7, ... 12 in the past nine years--including three in 2007 alone (two in an 8 day period) with another one planned for between now and 30 June.
I don't blame you for being scared.
The only bad thing about mine is that I tend to do REALLY STUPID things (like sending rambling emails to people) in the days following the surgeries.

If I had the money to do it, let's see! I had a full abdomonoplasty (the one that they tighten your abdomen like a girdle) (watched to many Dr. 90210) , liposuction, breast lift (there sagging after two kids), laser hair removal if that's consider a cosmetic surgery.

If I won lotto I would slap my butt on the table so fast its not funny. I would love a breast lift. I nursed 2 hungry babies, one for 2 years! Brow lift, tummy tuck, butt removal.....
