Depends on the day....but since when I work I need to pack my entire day's worth of food, I usually mix it up. Cold sandwich and left overs to heat up, fruit veggies and yogurt....that's pretty normal.
I would never eat from the hospital cafeteria.....It way too expensive and everything's made from a frozen package and deep fried....seems like an oxymoron for a hospital to serve that kind of food eh? ???

Sassy, they don't have a salad bar?!? The hosp. I used to work at sold less-than-healthy food too, but at least they had a fresh salad bar that I loved. I used to pile my plate w/ greens and then top w/ cottage cheese, peaches, and sunflower seeds (I know it sounds weird to me now too). On days that I help at my son's school, I'm usually running out the door in a hurry so I grab the entire bag of tortillas, the entire pack of cheese, and an icepack. Then I make quesadillas at the school for my boys and I. If I'm really planning ahead I might have time to make a sandwich.

I bring leftovers to heat. I don't really like sandwiches, I can eat them but they are not my favorite.

I either bring leftovers from home or I eat canned soup from my stash. I keep a stash at work of healthy snacks so I'm not tempted to eat all the delicious foods my co-workers routinely bring into the office. Not that I'm completely immune - just yesterday I ate my first doughnut in eons. I could actually only bring myself to eat a few bites of it before I got sick of the sugar, but I still ate some.

I've been craving (not pregnant) bologna sandwiches lately (haven't had them in months) so i've been taking those to work with those 100 calorie bags of chips (cheetohs, doritos, etc) And, if I have leftovers to take (which doesn't happenthat much because I have three very hungry kids (18-14-14) and husband) that doesn't leave very much "left over"! Every once in a while I'll take one of those frozen dinners like Healthy choice or the like, but they're swimming in sodium, so i try and watch it.

RTP, they do but it usually looks terrible and it's brutally expensive....they charge by weight I've seen some of the girls come into the break room with a salad from the cafeteria that was a very small plate that cost over $10.00 not including a drink....I refuse to pay that for a salad. So I guess I take it back....they serve some stuff that is sorta fresh...and expensive

We don't have a "break room" & have a tiny dorm fridge, so it's out to lunch M - Thur. Usually to a sit down 1 or 2 X's a week & drive thru the other 2 - 3. I have found that Wendy's has baked potatoes & salads on the value menu that works really well!
